I CONFESS the work of sin coming against me.
Confession is carefully considering my situation and bringing my thoughts and words about this issue into agreement with God. Sin is missing the mark so as not to share in the prize. Sin is anything that keeps me from having the good things that God wants to give me. Talk to God in detail about the good things that sin is attempting to steal or destroy in your life. (I John 1:9; Romans 7:17, 20)
I REPENT and ask Your forgiveness for any way I have participated in that sin.
*Note: It is important to distinguish between sin that comes as temptation which must be resisted and sin that you participate in which requires repentance and forgiveness. (I Peter 5:8-9; Hebrews 12:4; Acts 3:14)
I nail____________to the CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST where You overcame and condemned all sin, death and darkness.
Thank you, Jesus, that you have given me your Spirit to enable me to overcome this as you did.(Colossians 2:13-15; Galatians 6:14; I Peter 2:24)
In the NAME OF JESUS, I tell_____________to leave me.
Get away from me and stay away in Jesus’ name. (Mark 16:17; Acts 4:7)
I ask you, Jesus, to CLEANSE ME WITH YOUR BLOOD.
I receive the power of Your pure, spotless blood that was shed for me. Cleanse my mind and my heart so that I can see myself and my situation the same as You see it. (I John 1:7; Revelation 12:10-11; I Corinthians 2:16)
HOLY SPIRIT, PLEASE FILL ME with your spirit of_______________instead of ____________________.
For example, instead of anger, Jesus wants to fill you with the fruit of His Spirit, patience, gentleness and kindness. Instead of a spirit of fear, Jesus wants you to have power, love and a sound mind. He wants you to know His perfect love that casts out all fear. Instead of worry, He wants you to have His peace rule. Instead of agreeing with false accusation about yourself, ask Him to fill you with His spirit of truth, etc. (I John 1:7; I Peter 5:6-11; Luke 8:18; John 17:17; II Timothy 1:7)
THANK GOD that He will make you stronger as you trust Him through this difficulty. (Romans 5:3-5; I Thessalonians 5:18; James 1:2-4)
WORSHIP AND PRAISE God for His power to enable you to overcome anything that the enemy brings to you. (I Corinthians 10:13; Romans 8:36, 37)
