SLW Testimony: Creating A New Standard

“I had a fear that no one would fully accept me and love me for who I am.  Once I open up more and share my past, I’ll be rejected or the other person will leave.  [At Single Life Workshop], I shared my testimony with my small group (being the only male among a group of women).  Instead of being met with disgust, reviling, judgment or condemnation, the women responded with compassion, understanding, patience and so much love.  The Lord spoke during the time my group prayed and promised me even more with my future wife in regards to being loved/respected.  The way I was loved and treated by my group is now my new standard in being treated by the opposite sex.” – SLW Participant
