“I came hoping to find freedom from the pain of betrayal by my dad as a child and later, betrayal by my husband. I am free. And not only from the sins done to me, but from my own sin that I wasn’t even aware of. I thought I was an innocent bystander, but I realized this week that I had made agreements with the enemy of peace and joy by inviting and entertaining the victim spirit. It kept me captive long after the sins were committed against me. These sins could have been a distant memory, but the victim spirit would not let me be comforted and the spirit of “make you pay” that I hosted, invited to my table, and continually fed, would not allow the repentance of my husband to result in my true forgiveness of him. I am free now and can hardly explain the feeling. It’s like I’ve lost a bunch of weight. Thank you Jesus! and thank you LAM!”
